Tanya Little is the founder and CEO of Hart Advisors Group, L.L.C.,
a real estate advisory firm established in 2009 that specializes
in equity portfolio management, loan restructures, loan assumptions
and due diligence for commercial real estate loans and assets.
Over the past two years, Little has completed commercial loan restructures
for CMBS and balance sheet loans totaling over $2 billion in combined
loan balances. Additionally, Little oversees a team that manages
over 6 million square feet of commercial assets for owners. In the
first quarter of 2012, her efforts have resulted in multiple engagements
totaling over $65M in loan volume. Drawing on her experience in
lean process management, teambuilding, business unit creation and
marketing, Tanya has successfully built her own business platform
and grew her employee base to 10 associates and advisors, two offices,
and established a national presence, despite the recession.
Prior to launching Hart Advisors Group, Tanya served as Chief Operating
Officer of RBC Capital Markets' Real Estate Mortgage Capital business,
which provided CMBS financing for commercial real estate across
the United States. She was responsible for developing and overseeing
all business operations including development of the business infrastructure
and strategic plan for a new lending business unit, which produced
over $2.3 billion in volume within the first year of launch. In
addition, Tanya led the asset management and servicing for a one
billion dollar interim portfolio.
Before joining RBC Capital Markets, Tanya was the Managing Director
of Marketing for the North America Lending division of GE Real Estate.
In this role, she developed and directed the marketing strategy
for a $7 billion per-year national lending platform that offered
both fixed and floating-rate financing products. Prior experience
at GE included leading process improvement initiatives as a Six
Sigma Black Belt, and Senior Asset Manager for GE's pension fund,
a $425 million national portfolio.
Tanya's experience includes serving as a Vice President at American
Federal Bank, a Southwest Plan institution. In this role, she performed
workouts and coordinated with RTC receivers on over $2 billion in
real estate related transactions.
Tanya holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing, the Certified
Property Manager designation given by IREM (CPM®), and a Texas
Real Estate Broker's license. Real Estate Forum Magazine honored
Tanya with a Woman of Influence Award. Tanya also received the first
award for Individual Career Advancement for Women from CREW. Tanya
is a Founding Committee Member for CREW's SMU Leadership Program
for Women and she serves on the 2012 Real Estate Council Foundation
Board of Directors.
