Tanya Little
Tanya Little is the founder and CEO of Hart Advisors Group, L.L.C., a real estate advisory firm established in 2009 that specializes in equity portfolio management, loan restructures, loan assumptions and due diligence for commercial real estate loans and assets.

Over the past two years, Little has completed commercial loan restructures for CMBS and balance sheet loans totaling over $2 billion in combined loan balances. Additionally, Little oversees a team that manages over 6 million square feet of commercial assets for owners. In the first quarter of 2012, her efforts have resulted in multiple engagements totaling over $65M in loan volume. Drawing on her experience in lean process management, teambuilding, business unit creation and marketing, Tanya has successfully built her own business platform and grew her employee base to 10 associates and advisors, two offices, and established a national presence, despite the recession.

Prior to launching Hart Advisors Group, Tanya served as Chief Operating Officer of RBC Capital Markets' Real Estate Mortgage Capital business, which provided CMBS financing for commercial real estate across the United States. She was responsible for developing and overseeing all business operations including development of the business infrastructure and strategic plan for a new lending business unit, which produced over $2.3 billion in volume within the first year of launch. In addition, Tanya led the asset management and servicing for a one billion dollar interim portfolio.

Before joining RBC Capital Markets, Tanya was the Managing Director of Marketing for the North America Lending division of GE Real Estate. In this role, she developed and directed the marketing strategy for a $7 billion per-year national lending platform that offered both fixed and floating-rate financing products. Prior experience at GE included leading process improvement initiatives as a Six Sigma Black Belt, and Senior Asset Manager for GE's pension fund, a $425 million national portfolio.

Tanya's experience includes serving as a Vice President at American Federal Bank, a Southwest Plan institution. In this role, she performed workouts and coordinated with RTC receivers on over $2 billion in real estate related transactions.

Tanya holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing, the Certified Property Manager designation given by IREM (CPM®), and a Texas Real Estate Broker's license. Real Estate Forum Magazine honored Tanya with a Woman of Influence Award. Tanya also received the first award for Individual Career Advancement for Women from CREW. Tanya is a Founding Committee Member for CREW's SMU Leadership Program for Women and she serves on the 2012 Real Estate Council Foundation Board of Directors.
